- _g_e_n_p_e_r_m is a simple script that constructs a somewhat restrictive
- /_e_t_c/_u_u_c_p/_P_e_r_m_i_s_s_i_o_n_s file. By default, it creates a file that allows
- any remote system to use the name nnnnuuuuuuuuccccpppp. Each remote system is allowed
- to use any of several services.

- Systems with login names not of the form UUUU_r_e_m_o_t_e where _r_e_m_o_t_e is the UUCP
- name of the system are accommodated by editing the script. This is most
- commonly necessary when the remote system name is long.
